We are extremely grateful to our community partners, who graciously aid us with resources to sustain our programs, and our SEEDS volunteers, who dedicate hours of their time each week in order to organize curriculums and work with our SEEDS students. None of this would be possible without all of you.

We host celebrations, camps, and other community events. Check out some of our recent events below! They include Lunar New Year celebrations, Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, a summer camp in partnership with the University of Maryland, the SEEDS Can Fly event in partnership with Young Eagles, an ice-skating event at Rockville Town Center, and an Easter celebration!

We are currently working on a short documentary project spearheaded by our Montgomery County chapter, funded partially by the United Chinese Americans (ucausa.org) and partially by the MD Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), to highlight the contributions Chinese-American volunteer organizations are providing nationwide in enriching the daily lives of students with disabilities and their families.

We pair students with older mentors for various extracurricular activities and academic subjects, which include math, reading, writing, sports, and music. We currently have 13 tutor-tutee pairings!

We are working in collaboration with Maryland’s Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) to create a multilingual mobile app that introduces DDA services in both English and Chinese.

Who Are We?
